Album teaser video and all ages release party

So, just a couple of things. We've just uploaded a teaser video for the upcoming in-store release of The Conquering. It was put together from footage shot by Mike Bromley at the August 1st release party at Monte's in Dartmouth, and kindly edited by Jordan Dupper. Check it out below.
Also, we've just announced an all ages release party for Thursday, August 27th at 6 PM. It's at a new venue in Dartmouth, so help us make it a great show! The Old Mill Upstairs is at 200 Wyse Road, right by the McDonald bridge; easy to get to by bus, so no excuses for missing this.
Show will start at 6 PM sharp! It's a bit early, but things have to be wrapped up by 9. That just means there's gonna be plenty of time to go out and party after the show.

So, the CD release party was a great success, and we want to thank everyone for coming out and picking up a copy of The Conquering. It's now available direct from us at shows, but if you can't catch a live show in the next little bit, you'll have to wait until the retail release on August 25th. In the meantime, we do have an online pre-order available, and if you pre-order a copy of the album, you'll also get a copy of Diminished Fifth Records' The Music of Artisanship and War: Volume II free! Link for online pre-orders is below (pre-orders will ship no later than Friday, August 21st).

Also, tickets for the CD release party are now on sale. They can be purchased at CD Heaven on Wyse Road in Dartmouth (by the bridge) and Rock Candy Boutique on Prince Street in Halifax. You can also get them from any member of Black Moor or Orchid's Curse. They're $6 in advance, $8 at the door.
CD Release Show!

So we've finally announced the date of our CD release show. It's going to be Saturday, August 1st at Monte's in Dartmouth (245 Waverley Road). We've got Death Valley Driver coming down from PEI to play, and Diminished Fifth label-mates Orchid's Curse rounding out the bill. Tickets will go on sale shortly, and details on where to get them will be announced then.
This will be the local release date, with the album scheduled to hit stores (and digital distribution, iTunes etc.) in Canada on August 25th. Release dates for the US/Mexico and UK/Ireland will be released soon.
Black Moor Joins Diminished Fifth!

We've signed on with Halifax-based metal label Diminished Fifth Records, and will be releasing our debut album, The Conquering through them. It should be released across Canada on August 25th and in the UK sometime in the Fall, although we'll be planning release shows locally sometime sooner than that.
